Comments: The provider has a reasonable price per kwh, but they have the most messed up average billing plan in the world. They actually just bill me what ever they want and just say it's the way they do it! To me and average is a number of months divided by that number and that establishes the bill amount. I have an average billing plan with Center Point for my natural gas, and it is actually an average and I can plan my budget on. First Choice has my bill as low as $115 and now this month it has jumped to $467. How is that an average of anything. Same thing happened last year and I am sick of it.

Comments: I switched from TXU and my bill went down substantially, I don't have any issues with service. I'm happy.

Comments: Their prepaid rates are good compared to TXU Energy. However, their customer service is HORRIBLE. A simple move request turned into 3 calls to them and still not setup. They're telling me that some people currently have service there, well what do you want ME TO DO? Call those people to see if they are moving and need to cancel or failed to cancel it!!! I don't have their number. I never witnessed so much incompetence. I have worked in customer service before and I always tried to resolve issues in 1 call. People have better things to do than sit on the phone all day with you First Choice!!! Get together. Train longer if you need to and update your computer systems too!

Comments: Their back-end system is...not great. Emailed me the wrong EFL agreement when I signed up. Can't download statements from the website.
