We asked a few questions of Angela Hanley, Senior Vice President of Operations and Marketing at Summer Energy:

What makes Summer Energy stand out? “We're a new company, but our key personnel hail from other local companies such as Gexa Energy and StarTex Power. Collectively, the leadership team has more than 36 years of retail energy experience. Rod Danielson, our CEO, previously served as Gexa Energy's chief supply officer, managing the same functions in the Texas, Massachusetts and New York markets.”

What about your electric plans?  “Even though we recently jumped into this market, we’re making a big splash with competitively-priced, fixed-rate plans of three- to 24-month terms. Very few surprises with our bills, just a base monthly charge and one utility fee in each monthly bill. Our base price includes everything else.”

What makes your customers happy?  “Our customers enjoy low fixed rates with simple, straightforward plans. Customers can make payments via web or phone call at no additional charge.”
