Get a convenient daily email with your smart meter data
This can be useful for saving money on your electric bill

TrueCost uses your smart meter data to build the most precise rate comparision tool available, which saves you money.

We also believe your meter data can be useful for saving money on your electric bill by helping you reduce consumption in smart ways, so we also offer our online, interactive meter data viewer. If you haven't tried it yet, it's fun for spotting longer-term trends or scrolling through time.

Now that data is one step closer to your fingers with our daily smart meter data email.

Every day, I receive a 24-hour snapshot of what my most recently available meter data looks like, as well as the total for the day:

As you get used to seeing these charts, you'll begin to spot "abnormal" usage. For my family, this has been lights left on overnight, air conditioners running when no one was home that day, etc.

Do you want to follow your data?
  • If you've already set up your TrueCost profile to receive your data, simply check the box on your My Account page to turn the email on.  It looks like this:

  • If you don't have a TrueCost profile, create one.
  • If you already have a profile but don't have the meter data flowing yet, you can do that here (login required). Then from your My Account page, you can sign up for the email.

If you need help, just let us know by phone, email, or chat..
