J.D. Power and Associates’ (JDPA) annual customer satisfaction surveys are a big deal at CenterPoint Energy. Our natural gas companies are measured by them, and we use the results to see whether improvements we make are resulting in happier customers.
JDPA also collects feedback from customers of electric companies as part of their Texas Residential Retail Electric Provider Customer Satisfaction Study(SM). The study, now in its sixth year, measures customer satisfaction with retail electric service providers in Texas by examining four key factors (listed in order of importance): price, billing and payment, communications and customer service.
At the top of list this year (and also for three previous years) is Champion Energy Services. Learn more

We’re excited to report that nine of the companies studied, including Champion Energy
, currently offer plans through TrueCost. Others receiving good marks (by ranking) are Bounce
and Gexa Energy
